Karma Jets Safety Standards
At Karma Jets, the safety of our clients is paramount. For this reason, we only partner with operators and brokers whose operators meet or exceed the
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135 Commuter on Demand Operations regulations. That means pilots and crew maintain strict protocol in terms of:
- Safety
- Maintenance
- Training
These regulations are extensive, stringent, and strictly-enforced by the FAA. They apply to crewmembers, aircraft, and flight operations. For instance, the pilot-in-command of an aircraft under IFR must have 1200 hours of flight time, 500 hours of cross-country flight, 75 hours of night flight, and 75 hours of actual or simulated instrument flight - of which 50 must be actual. There are strict requirements for the second-in-command, as well as airworthiness checks and aircraft inspections. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
